He seems competent with prescriptions which is why we'll be back (plus not wanting to wait months again for a different doctor, and he accepts our insurance and does telemedicine yet is close enough we can see him in person if needed) but the appointment represented the things I hate about medicine -- and I'm a physician! Not being heard (I swear he yawned several times behind his mask), the arrogance of disregarding other expert opinions, presuming his opinion was the end all, etc. On the plus, he was on time and we don't *need* him to be sympathetic and more personable to us and our child although it would be nice. Office staff were nice. It's just one visit so far, so hopefully we caught him on an off day. I do feel bad for patients who need forms filled out, $100 seems steep, but maybe that's just me. All in all, typical doctor. Perhaps being an MD has spoiled me or raised my expectations or it's the momma bear in me, but I'd hoped for more, especially after reading reviews and researching, ergo this posting, so others can go in prepared. I think this Dr is competent but don't go in expecting to be deeply listened to.
